GSM Enterprise has been fixing phones on S Bank Rd for years, through every generation of handset that's come through Serekunda — from the early Nokias to the Tecnos and Infinixes schoolkids carry now. The shop started as a counter selling chargers and SIMs and grew a workbench at the back as more people came in with broken screens than with money for a new phone.
That's still the idea. Most people in Serekunda can't replace a handset every time it cracks, and they shouldn't have to. A screen and a battery are a fraction of a new phone, and a phone that's fixed properly will run another two or three years.
We diagnose before we quote. If the fault is a D300 software job, we'll tell you that instead of selling you a D1,200 screen. If a phone is genuinely finished — corroded board, no parts available — we'll say so and not take your money.
Parts are sourced from suppliers we've used for years, and every repair is tested in front of you before it leaves the counter: touch across the whole screen, battery health, charging both ways, camera, speaker, mic, network. If something isn't right, it doesn't go out the door.
